Collect Call and 3rd Party Billing Charges

Q: What are these charges on my bill for collect calls and/or 3rd party charges?

A: When you accept a collect call or bill a charge to your telephone number a third party agency collects this data and bills your local service provider. They are then required to invoice you for the charges and pay the third party agency.

Q: What if I didn't accept the charges or don't remember doing anything that would have caused these charges to be billed to me?

A: Please fill out a dispute form and return to Sunflower Broadband. We will credit your account and return the charges to the 3rd party agency. The third party agency, by law, then has the right to contact you directly to collect the charges. You then have options to dispute the charges again directly with the billing agency.

Q: Do I still have to pay my bill if I am disputing the charge on my invoice?

A: You do have to pay your bill for telephone services but you may deduct the collect and/or third party charges you are disputing from the balance owed as long as you send the form.

Q: When will I see the credit on my bill?

A: Please allow 30 days for the credit to appear on your account.
