Do I need to cancel my current local service when I switch to Sunflower Broadband Telephone Service?
No, not if you are keeping your existing number when you come onto our service. Sunflower Broadband will handle everything for you so that your transition to our service will be smooth and simple. When you keep your number, Sunflower Broadband will contact your current provider and coordinate the transfer of your service so that there will not be any service interruption.
If you have elected to take a new number with Sunflower Broadband, you will need to contact your old provider to cancel your phone service with them. We recommend that you wait to cancel service with your old provider until after your Sunflower Broadband Telephone service has been installed in order to prevent any interruption of service.
