If your electricity goes out you will still be able to use your Sunflower Broadband Telephone Service as long as you have a corded phone somewhere in the home. Cordless phones require electricity to operate so if the power is out, these phones will not work until power is restored. Corded phones do not require electricity to operate and will continue to work through a power outage.
